The problem with bunking off school is that once you miss one lesson, then another it's almost impossible to catch up. That's my excuse for my abysmal exam grades & I'm sticking to it! Why am I telling you this dear reader, (hello & thanks for popping by), it is because 27 years after leaving school, I have signed up to do a degree with the Open University. Am I crazy? Time will tell I guess?
Starting the ball rolling with an access course in People & Society & my first week's homework was to write my learning plan. Nowadays I am a very different person from the terrified, spotty & permed haired 16 year old who took their CSEs at the worst school on the planet. I'm a 43 year old perfectionist who wants her work to be.....well... Perfect. Thankfully I don't have the spots or the perm - what was I thinking? I look older in those ancient photos than I am now!
The blog is going to be my home for the next six and a half years as I study my way to a Criminology & Psychology honours degree. It'll be one of those warts & all kinda blogs & I may even throw in a few home life stories too. It's now time to sleep so so long till tomorrow.
